Back on September 11, 2001, I was managing an e-mail list of affiliate managers called the USAMC (United States Affiliate Manager Coalition).

This list, which later evolved into the AffiliateManager.net forum, played host to a worldwide group of affiliate managers on that day.

The group reacted with shock to the terrorist strikes and later worked together to share information to help the victims through donations.

It seems like only yesterday that affiliate managers were posting messages to check if their online colleagues in NYC and Washington, DC were ok. As I posted on that day, after making my escape from the city, “My prayers go out to all who are affected by this (who isn’t)”.
