The world of affiliate fatblogging is still all good. I’ve been happy with the Core program at Weight Watchers, both in the food and the results.
I’m glad to say that I’ve dropped two more pounds in the past week to bring the total loss to seven pounds to date.
I wasn’t sure what I was going to see on the scale this week, because I fell off the wagon last Saturday while visiting my brother and his family.
We went out to the Blob’s Park Bavarian Biergarten, where I indulged in some Bratwurst, Knockwurst, red cabbage, and dumplings - all washed down with pitchers of Spaten.
So I was thinking I might see a rise in weight from the previous week.
But happily, the one bad day was surrounded by six good days of proper dieting, lots of water, and exercise.
On another note, some people have asked me about different diets I’ve tried in the past.
One thing I tried with success last year was Diet to Your Door (now known as Bistro M.D.). They’ve got an affiliate program on Shareasale.
They send all of the food you’ll need per week on ice, and then you heat it up as you need it. It’s tasty “gourmet” food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a couple snacks each day.
I liked it when I was doing it, as it helped to drop weight, and the food was good. The one problem was that it wasn’t really a sustainable lifestyle, at least for me.
Once you stop purchasing their foods (plans start at $19.42 per day), which are a bit pricey, it’s sort of difficult to maintain the same diet.
But if you’re looking for a somewhat quick fix to jumpstart weight loss efforts, I’d suggest Bistro M.D.
Anyhow, I like Weight Watchers a lot, because it’s flexible, tasty, easy to follow when traveling, and something I can see myself doing well into the future.
