Affiliate Fatblogging: Cold Pizza is Hard to Resist

by on May 20, 2009

Let me just get this out of the way, so there is no confusion. I love cold pizza.

My oldest daughter just had her 10th birthday party, and we had a nice, delicious, plain pizza pie left over. It went in the fridge in my office and it’s been torturing and mocking me all day.

How can I seriously eat lettuce and cucumbers when there is pizza 15 feet away? And not some stuff that pretends to be pizza like Domino’s or Papa John’s – I’m talking real pizza.

Anyhow, in the pre-affiliate fatblogging days, I would have inhaled the pie throughout the day with no remorse.

But things are different now. Damn. But I did lose a pound in the past week.

That said, I had some pizza at the birthday party. But cut me some slack, because I didn’t eat any cake.

And I’ve been keeping up with the workouts and all. One thing I’m thinking of adding into the mix is a walkstation. Still having an internal debate on that one.

Starting weight: 225
Last week: 219
This week: 218

@passion4pizza:
I was just looking at your section on NYC pizzerias – that’s my ultimate weakness.

Just had some 3 nights ago.

Imagine what it’s like to run a pizza website and still be losing weight! We still eat pizza about 3 times a month. Making it ourselves is a little healthier and less fattening, but it isn’t easy…

45 pounds lost since January!

I’m a big fan of leftover pizza myself, although I prefer to reheat mine ;) You always hear of all the great benefits of working from home but since I have been working out of an office I walk to and from work which takes about 25 minutes either way. So I defintiely get a lot more exercise now than when I was working from home, which was practically zilch.

Cold Pizza. MMMM. Why must I watch this video before lunch?! Hahaha!

Dude, I know your pain. I’ve been working from home for the last three years as a freelance reporter and a blogger. Its so hard not to raid the fridge every 15-minutes. Keep up the good work though. I found that drinking water helps when you start to think about heading to the kitchen.

Your Message@James Seligman:
Thanks, you too. Let’s go down to Little Italy during Affiliate Summit and celebrate the weight loss with a feast! :)

I know how you feel, On Sunday I was at my mom’s house and she made manicotti, my favorite meal, and she asked if I wanted to bring the rest home and I had to say no thanks or I would have eaten it all in no time.

So congrats on the discipline, been there this week also.

Keep up the good work!
